TenSeventy Advisors was founded in 1958 as IBB – Internationale Betriebsberatung, one of the early pioneers of management consulting in the DACH region. By the 1990s, IBB had grown into a highly respected European consultancy, supporting clients across Europe on strategy, transformation, M&A, and operations, and collaborating with industry associations and research institutions, including partners such as Stanford University, ultimately earning the “Österreichisches Bundeswappen” for exceptional merits in service of the Austrian economy.
In the early 2000s, the firm continued under the name ifss Business Excellence, with a stronger focus on operational performance and process optimization, particularly Lean and Six Sigma, for large international clients. In 2026, we rebranded to Tenseventy Advisors, re-centering on what has defined us from the start: senior expertise, integrity, and advisory work that delivers real impact. Short: Excellence. TenSeventy Advisors is a Vienna-based management consulting firm with a European heritage that traces back to 1958. We were founded on the belief that consulting should stand for substance: rigorous thinking, technical credibility, and measurable improvement. Over decades – and through different names – one thing never changed: we focus on quality, not show.

At Tenseventy Advisors we are committed to making a contribution to the community and to society. We organize and participate in yearly charitable events, and sometimes complete consulting projects and trainings on a pro bono basis.
Supporting Ethiopia’s manufacturing sector
A Tenseventy Advisors colleague supported a dissertation on KAIZEN in Ethiopia’s manufacturing sector by providing statistical analysis of a survey using a psychology-based method to quantify how strongly respondents link different factors to performance.
Pro bono project for Medair
Medair is a humanitarian organization working in remote and crisis-affected regions. A Tenseventy Advisors colleague supported a pro bono project in Jordan to improve medication inventory and stock processes, increasing accuracy and timeliness.
Strategic partnership with Die Möve
Pro bono projects fighting poverty
World Vision fights poverty worldwide. In two pro bono weeks, Tenseventy Advisors colleagues delivered Lean training for 40 participants in Kinshasa (improving the child sponsorship feedback process) and Dakar (streamlining aid-goods ordering). In pro bono projects, Tenseventy Advisors contributes expertise for free and grants volunteer employees extra vacation days.
